Moving right along.

Trying out some other apps.

Colour Accent. This is one of my favourites for images with strong colour contrasts.

iColorama 13

Form/glass. Eighty-three (!) options, three sliders.

Form/waves. Four options, three sliders. In some of these I have made the apped image less opaque to allow the base image to show through.

Form/Escher. Ten options, three-four sliders. Again, the opacity has been adjusted in some images.

Form/tiles. Five options, two sliders.

Playing around with iColorama has given me just a taste of the infinite possibilities this app offers - and I still haven't explored using multiple filters, or what the little brush and bulls eye symbols can do. I have lost the print-out of the instructions and I can't work it out for myself! But even without them, there are masses of ideas that inspire embroidery, my main reason for playing with apps. Well, that and having fun!

iColorama 12

Form/warp. One setting, warping by stroking with one finger. Opacity reduced in this image so the original is also visible.

Form/flip. Three settings. Two sliders: moving the 'Feature' slider moves the image, as above.

Form/crop. Does what it says on the tin. Six presets plus free crop.

Form/deforms. Nine options, two-four sliders. In some of these images, opacity is reduced.

Thursday evening - and morning.

Though not necessarily in that order.

iColorama 11

I have not done justice to this section, 'Brush', of what iColorama has to offer, partly because I have yet to master it all.  For example, I believe that you can use the effects in more subtle ways than I have, and mask off some areas, but I've lost the bit of paper on which I had printed out the hints on how to do it!

Brush/abstract. Twelve options, three sliders, four blending modes.

Brush/shatter. Fifty-four options, four sliders.

Brush/explode. Seven options, three sliders, five blending modes.

Brush/photo. Two options (smudge and blur), three sliders.

Brush/colorize. Four options for colourising, using 264 different brushes, two sliders and four blending modes.

Brush/stamped. Twenty five options, four sliders. On this image I found the effects look fairly similar, but on a different image - or when I've learned to use it properly - the effects may be more pronounced.

iColorama

Adjust/exposure. One option, four sliders.

Adjust/shadows. One option, four sliders.

Adjust/channels. Nine options, four sliders.

Adjust/HDR. Five options, four sliders.

This section offers more ways to manipulte images than I expected before I tried it.

iColorama 9

Adjust/high. Four options.

Adjust/tone lab. Five options, several sliders. Who could resist one called 'Gloom'?

Adjust/vibrance. One option, four sliders which provide quite a lot of variety.

Adjust/saturate. One option, four sliders.

iColorama 8

Effects/denoise. Two options.

Effects/sharpen. Six options.

Effects/pixels. Nineteen options, varying numbers of sliders. Ideas for design rather than final designs?

Effects/multi. Two options. Love that multicoloured bee!
